Trailer deluge from San Diego Comic Con

San Diego Comic Con has wrapped up. As usual, the Comic Con has provided delicious offerings for the movie lovers. While there have been no big twists up the sleeves of the film studios this time round, some new teasers and movie footage would surely have made up for that. Much of this has now been made available on the web for those who were not in attendance at the Comic Con. Of the lot, these few trailers at least should not be missed.

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies

The final chapter of yet another epic trilogy by Peter Jackson will be unveiled on December 17, 2014. And the first trailer has been launched, which is grim in its setting and as ominous as the battle that is about to follow which may have a bearing on the fate of Middle Earth. Bilbo Baggins has got much more than he bargained for!

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1

It too should have been the final part of The Hunger Games trilogy but as the final book has been split into two movies, we will see only half of the finale on November 21, 2014. Another grim setting, another impending war, as Katniss Everdeen gets embroiled in a bigger fight than she had imagined.

Mad Max: Fury Road

Mel Gibson played Mad Max back in 1979, and now Tom Hardy will reprise the role in this reboot, releasing on May 15, 2015. Also starring Charlize Theron, the movie is set in an apocalyptic world where humanity is broken and everyone is fighting for the necessities of life. In such a world, two rebels will have to fight hard to survive.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

We are still a while away from any proper trailer from this movie, as Zack Snyder and team continue to tease us with a few photos here and there. At Comic Con, the studio did provide some footage on the upcoming 2016 movie, brief though it was, which has however not been released yet for others. An enthusiastic fan has recreated the footage in a simplistic manner, which is still fun to watch despite the millions of dollars not at his disposal. You can check that out here.
