Bid adieu to 2015!

Year 2015 was massive for Hollywood. With $11 billion crossed on the domestic box-office for the first time ever (thus breaking the previous box-office record set in 2013), along with huge numbers churned in the global market, the year raised the bar on how big and wide Hollywood can be. There were five movies that earned more than a billion dollars worldwide, a remarkable figure. Franchises that were decades old found new audience and newer markets; franchises that were not so old continued to do strong; fresh original ideas also found recognition and a few would be turning into franchises of their own. The year has been as good as we expected it to be, and in some periods, even better! While a plethora of movies are churned out each year in Hollywood, we all have different appetites of how much we can intake. I watched 52 movies of 2015, ranging from truly terrible to mind-blowingly marvelous. My thoughts on these movies have been captured in the portrait below where the movie posters have been resized based on my liking for that movie. Have a look at them, with the ratings mentioned below, and if you skipped some of the good ones, there is always time to catch up!
